I hike (e.g. Skyline to the Sea, Half Dome,
Mission Peak x4, r2r2r), but failed to summit Mt Whitney due to
altitude sickness. The elevation limit for me seems to be around 7,800 ft.
I run a lot and have finished a few (half) marathons: marina bay
half, SF full marathon, NYC half.
I used to buy wine/liquor/sake often and have my own home bar. I
love joining Google’s wine tasting but that seldom happens.
I deeply love Berkeley as it taught me how to live.
I dyed my hair green/pink and the recent attempt for blue looks cool.
I am first-aid trained, for both urban and wilderness scenarios.
I like thought-provoking/inspiring art, especially many modern pieces. My
favorite artists are Salvador Dali, William Turner, Masako
Miki, Ad Reinhardt, Vija Celmins (in the order
that I began to know them).
